Chandana Bhowmick!
Chandana started herexploration of Yoga in the year 2000. It was in 2011 that she found her calling – Ashtanga Yoga. One class in a festival in Rishikesh was all it took to convince her to book her tickets for Mysore, to study with her Guruji Shri R Sharath Jois. She has been studying under his guidance ever since, and received her Level II Authorization in 2016. She now runs her own Mysore program in Barcelona, and regularly travel and teach Mysore rooms and workshops in other Shalas. She is one of the few teachers in Europe to have completed her Level 3 with Sharath Guruji.

Chandana pays a lot of attention on alignment for building up strength and increasing your flexibility and core awareness. Depending on your practice, drills will be introduced to help and enhance your asana practice.
4 Pillars of Backbending
–>1 Spine isolation
–>2 Hip mobility
–>3 Leg Awareness
–>4 Core and Back Strength
This is a two day progressive workshop. Day 1 we will work on strength and alignment/isolation for backbends followed with Day 2 where in we will make use of this awareness to go deeper into our flexibility!
